Privacy

What this site knows about you: almost nothing

No accounts, no sign-in, no ad trackers and no third-party analytics. What is stored, where it is stored and how to erase it is all on this page.

On your device

Two things, both in your browser

Your checklist ticks

When you tick a step in a guide, the tick is saved in your browser's own storage so the list remembers where you got to. It never leaves the device, it isn't tied to an account, and clearing your browser data clears it.

The email you offer for a printable

The printable checklist is the one thing we ask an email for. That address is recorded in this site's own database with the sheet you asked for and the page you asked from, so the request can be fulfilled. Visitors are given no read access to those records, and nothing is passed to an advertising or analytics network.

Not done here

What this site doesn't do

No advertising trackers. No third-party analytics cookies. No fingerprinting. No selling, sharing or brokered transfer of anything. No tracking pixels embedded in emails. No profile built from your reading.

The links that leave this site — to netwisekids.com and to the platform documentation each guide cites — are ordinary links. Clicking one starts a request to that other site, which has its own privacy policy; NetWise adds no identifier to the link that would let those sites tie a visit back to you.

The email list

What we send, and how to stop it

One 2-minute alert every Thursday on what your kids already know. No scare campaigns, no unsolicited parenting advice. One click to leave.

Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe that works immediately, and an address to write to if you'd rather we delete the record than just stop mailing it. We don't hold a payment card, a date of birth or a child's name, because a guide about phone settings has no reason to ask for them.

We don't email a child. Nothing on this site is aimed at under-16s, and no part of it collects information from them.

Your choices

Erasing it yourself

Because the storage is local, you can wipe it yourself without asking us: clear this site's browsing data in your browser settings, and both the checklist ticks and the saved email are gone. If you'd like a copy of what we hold, or deletion of something held on our side, write to privacy@netwisekids.com and we'll answer within thirty days.

If a law in your region gives you further rights over personal data, we'll honour it. Write to the same address.
